IT consultancy for companies in Spain. Understand first, then decide.
IT consultancy helps your company decide what to change in its technology, what to keep and in what order. And we stay while it happens — in English or Spanish, on Central European Time, invoicing from a Spanish company.
What IT consultancy is, and what an IT consultant does.
What changes when you bring in a consultant is how decisions get made: from a diagnostic and a plan, not on a supplier's say-so or by habit.
What an IT consultant does.
Helps you decide. They learn how your company works, review the technology you have (systems, suppliers, cloud, security, costs) and tell you, with judgement, what to change, what to keep and in what order.
IT consultancy, IT consulting, technology consultancy: the same service.
Three names, one service. What it isn't: IT support. Keeping what you already have running belongs to the Run pillar, as continuous support and evolutive maintenance. Nor is it a report that gathers dust: it's a plan your team can execute.

IT consultancy services: diagnostic, roadmap and fractional CTO.
The diagnostic can be engaged on its own, and it doesn't commit you to continuing with us. You keep the report and the roadmap, and you can execute them with your own team or with another partner.
Tech diagnostic.
Map of the current state: stack, team, tech debt, risks. Done alongside your team, within the Strategy pillar, it wraps in 3–5 weeks, depending on team size and what's already documented.
Roadmap and decisions.
12–24 month plan with priorities, dependencies and costs. The decisions: on-premise, cloud or hybrid; which ERP or CRM; AI only with a real use case. For each one, our recommendation and the alternatives explained.
Ongoing tech leadership.
Someone who takes the technical decisions with you, week by week, without hiring a full-time CTO: our Fractional CTO, part-time tech leadership. Optional.
What you get — examples.
Systems, tech debt and risks, in plain language.
What you have today, and how the pieces connect.
Initiatives in order, with dependencies and estimated effort.
Including what we ruled out, and why.
Few, measurable, agreed with leadership.
We adapt the language, not the substance.
How we work: listen, map, propose, stay.
Listen
A 30-minute conversation, no commitment. Tell us in plain language. We respond in under 48 working hours.
Map
A 3–5 week discovery alongside your team: systems, suppliers, costs, risks.
Propose
Report and roadmap with the alternatives explained. Bad news comes early.
Stay
Optional: part-time tech leadership, or build and run with clear SLAs.
Who you'll work with.
A small, senior team, +18 years in consultancy and cloud architecture at the helm, plus a network of partners when needed. No layers between who decides and who delivers. When you write to us, a senior engineer replies, not a salesperson. Meet the team →

Nobody on the ground owns technology.
HQ decides from abroad; the Spanish operation runs on a local supplier. You need someone senior nearby, reporting in your language.
Technical decisions nobody is taking.
IT sits with a supplier, or with whoever knows most about it. Someone has to decide, without hiring a full-time CTO.
A decision with money behind it.
Replacing the core system, buying, selling or investing. A second technical opinion before you sign.
When we're not the best option.
- You just want to buy licences or hardware. We don't sell standalone licences without strategic support behind them; a reseller serves you better.
- You want a fixed quote this week, with no conversation first. We don't work without a discovery phase; the first thing we deliver is a conversation.
- You've already chosen the ERP, the cloud or the supplier and just want it signed off. We can review it, but the diagnostic may conclude the opposite.
- You're looking for the lowest rate. Cutting price by cutting seniority is the oldest trick in the sector. We'd rather say no.
- You want the report to say you need AI because everyone's doing it. We don't recommend AI hype or trends without real application. If it adds value, we do it; if not, we say so.
If it's not a fit, that's fine too — that's why we publish this.
Consultancy or IT support: what each one solves.
| Aspect | IT consultancy | IT support and maintenance |
|---|---|---|
| What it solves | Deciding what to change, what to keep and in what order | Keeping what you already have running |
| When it fits | Before a decision, or when nobody is steering technology | The day-to-day: incidents, updates, backups |
| How it's engaged | Fixed-scope diagnostic, capped time or part-time tech leadership | Team capacity with SLAs, in the Run pillar |
What it costs, and what drives the price.
What an IT consultant charges depends on three things: scope (how many systems and suppliers to review), whether it's diagnostic only or implementation too, and whether you want continuity afterwards.
In the first conversation, with your context in front of us, we tell you which model fits: fixed-scope diagnostic, capped time or part-time tech leadership. We also give you a range for the diagnostic. Build or run is quoted once there's a scope, after discovery.
Frequently asked questions.
How long does IT consultancy take?
The diagnostic wraps in 3–5 weeks. The roadmap covers 12–24 months; part-time tech leadership lasts while it adds value.
Do I need a clear problem before calling you?
No. The first conversation exists precisely to clarify the problem.
What if the diagnostic recommends not hiring you?
We say so and tell you who to call instead. Honest consultancy is part of what we sell. We'd rather say no than sell a project that adds no real value.
Do you only advise, or do you also build and run?
All three, separately and only when it makes sense. Advice comes first; then, if needed, we build (custom software development), run with clear SLAs (Run pillar) or keep deciding with you part-time.
Are you a large IT consultancy?
No. We're a small, senior technology consultancy: an advantage if you want judgement straight from the people doing the work, not if you need dozens of consultants next week.
We have a subsidiary in Spain. Can you be our partner on the ground?
Yes. In person across the Madrid region, remotely with the rest of Spain and Europe, reporting to your HQ in English and invoicing from a Spanish company, Solid Tech Consulting S.L.
Which languages and time zone do you work in?
English, Spanish and Portuguese, on Central European Time, one hour ahead of the UK.
